8 days ago, I started a 365 Days Flickr project—1 self-portrait per day for an entire year.

I can’t stop singing this song.

Until it becomes second nature, I have to constantly remind myself to pick up the camera before leaving the house each day. Yesterday was no exception.

I downloaded the Left 4 Dead demo last night on Xbox Live. Valve, the creative force behind Counter-Strike, Half-Life, and Team Fortress, have absolutely outdone themselves.

I haven’t spent much time in front of the television in the last few years. Lately though, when I am watching something, I’m also sitting with my laptop, a digital camera, and my iPhone.

I’ve overheard several people and seen posts on Twitter today stating “election day should be a holiday” and “we should get the day off work.” While federal law doesn’t require businesses to give employees time off to vote, many states have related laws on the books. Virginia isn’t one of them.

Anitra, the girls, and I drove to Fredericksburg, VA on Sunday to visit my sister and her family. While the girls played, I spent some time talking about camera gear with my brother-in-law, as he had recently purchased a new telephoto lens for his Nikon D70, the same camera I use.

Joystiq posted a trailer for BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams today.  The trailer is available from the Extras menu when you complete the game on the PS3.
