Anyone else getting hit with comment spam from “Bill” at justalkaboutit . com?

I don’t mind if someone pimps their site in a sig if they post a legitimate comment. This guy on the other hand has dropped several comments over the last couple of days on gaming related posts - all of which were nothing more than “cool, thanks for sharing” posts with a link back to justalkaboutit . com. (Talk about a bad way to build traffic to your business!)

Most comment spammers I deal with are from China, Hong Kong, and the occasional trickle from Romania. Normally I just ban their IP address and voila - they’re never seen again. Bill () from justalkaboutit . com is hitting me from a Comcast IP though (76.98.48.230) and I’m reluctant to simply block that one.

Any suggestions that don’t involve the guy from the previous post or bacon?

I really, really, really, really hate it. The developers of this most horrendous browser should have been fired by Microsoft years ago.

I guess this explains why my Google Analytics stats are still empty…

Google is slowly opening the door to their Analytics application.

2am and the coffee is still coursing through my veins. Not a good sign.

The good news is that I was able to recover my CSS file for the website after I accidentally deleted most of the data here. At least it still looks like it used to. The good news is that I do have a backup. It’s just going to take some time to restore it.

A number of you have asked me to allow the posting of comments on the site. I finished the registration coding tonight and it should be up and running.

I’ve added a section on the right called Members. From there, you can register, log in or view the member directory.

Please let me know if you have any problems durng registration or login.
