Over the last few years, I’ve become a die-hard customer of Google’s services. On a daily basis, I log into Gmail, Reader, Analytics, Adsense, Docs, and others but because Google and Apple’s iCal don’t play nicely together without the use of third-party sync apps, I never bothered with Google Calendar.

Google indexing Flash
I’m one of those people that’s hated Flash since day one—my main complaint being that the content couldn’t be properly indexed and so outside of showcasing art and/or a developer’s talent, Flash had no place driving the content of a web site.

OpenID gets some heavy love
Looks like the big players are finally jumping onto the OpenID bandwagon.
The OpenID Foundation recently announced that a number of internet heavyweights joined the group. The board now includes representatives from Google, IBM, Microsoft, VeriSign, and Yahoo!
While OpenID isn’t without it’s critics, including some concerns about phishing, it’s looking more and more like a viable solution for the masses who want to eliminate the need for multiple user names and passwords.
