Perspective

It’s amazing what multiple trips to the ER and 10 days in hospital can do for one’s perspective. Lying in a bed, especially the ultra-cushy ones in the ICU at Henrico Doctors Parham, afforded me the time to consider a number of ideas I should have worked through a long time ago.

I won’t be blogging, using Twitter, or doing much of anything online other than the occasional email to friends and family until I complete some other tasks.

Cheers.

Thank you Brandon

hot toddy

I’ve been fighting an evil chest cold all week—the probable consequence of having a child in daycare and a pathetically weak immune system due to the doses of steroids I’m still taking for my eye.

Over the last couple of days, I’ve have more Gatorade, chicken soup and tea than I care to imagine. Just when I thought I was ready to give up on flushing the evil out of my system, Brandon comes through with a solution.

The hot toddy.

It’s good for what ails you!
